About Us

Our Roots

Country Side Golf Course was founded by Harry and Bonnie Seutter, whose vision and commitment to the land helped shape what the course is today. What began as farmland has grown into a place where golf, community, and tradition come together - guided by experience passed down through generations.

From the very beginning, Country Side has reflected a respect for the land and a belief that golf should feel welcoming, approachable, and rooted in community.

How the Course Grew

Drawing on experience from our family’s previous Edmonton golf facility, Ravine View Golf Course (1960-1974), Country Side opened its first nine holes, the Woodlands, in 1985. Two seasons later, the Meadows nine was added, followed by the Prairies nine thirteen years later (1998), completing our 27-hole facility.

Over the years, the course has continued to evolve through thoughtful upgrades and improvements, always with playability and enjoyment in mind.

Country Side Today

Today, golfers can enjoy a traditional 18-hole round on the Prairies and Meadows courses, or a 9-hole Woodlands course with a bonus hole — added simply because we thought it would be fun.

Country Side also features a full-length driving range with an elevated grass tee, along with a licensed clubhouse that opened in 2011, offering a banquet hall and private courtyard. Whether you’re here to play, practice, or gather with friends, Country Side is designed to feel welcoming, relaxed, and enjoyable.
